Hello guys,
I'm running two computers side by side, linked to the router with Ethernet. I am running Windows 10 Home on both machines.
I'm currently running them together with limited success. I use my secondary PC to run lots of Flight Sim addons.
Previously, running Windows 7, I had no issues.
Until I upgraded to Windows 10. Now I get things mostly talking to each other on my Homegroup. I've mapped my drives so I can read and write files to both computers. I use software which enables me to use one keyboard and mouse to control both machines.
However, I cannot get the FSX program, SimConnect to communicate properly. I've disabled firewalls, opened ports, still not a great deal of success.
My question guys. Is there a fool proof way of syncing two computers to give me full functionality. I've obviously missed something along the way which is holding back the systems trusting one another.
I'm happy to start again with the Homegroup etc. Can someone please advise.
I really appreciate it,
Many thanks,
Alex.
