I'm just concerned. Seen a million of mixed reviews. Mostly saying avoid them for a whining noise and to go for some cougers.

I'm pretty sure even Cougars will start to whine eventually, like all the others.

i run mine on a fan controller. slow most of the time and cranked up when gaming. works well. i have'nt noticed any whine. get the 1850 gt's,you won't be dissapointed

you really need the optional heatsink for it to run a load of fans though.
but i am running 6 GT's and a couple more fans off it. it will also control your pump and monitor temps etc. and once it's programmed it will keep working without even being connected to the pc.
yes there is the aquasuite program that goes with it.
it's very flexible and allows you to set up multiple temp sensors so you can use just enough fan speed to get the job done, while still allowing things to ramp up quickly when you put load on the system.
