Hello,

Recently bought this http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-116-EK&groupid=962&catid=1532&subcat= (the EK H30 240 kit for those who dont need to click the link )

so I have spent the day looking at it and sizing it all up, question is what size tubing is in it? It says - TUBE Masterkleer 12,7/9,5 CLEAR (2 meters) but when I look on the OcUk store those numbers don't match up to any they have for sale. I know it must be really obvious but I cant see it. If someone could take a second and link me to the right stuff I would be very grateful. Also to the same compression fittings too please :D

The other question, is it ok to mount the res on its side? I was going to have it attached to the top of the case on its side. Will this still be ok or does it need to be the "right way up".

Cheers,
Mike

From EK right?

Internal diameter (ID): 10mm (3/8")
Outer diameter (OD): 13mm (1/2")
The title contains the metric measurements by the looks of it.

Second question, You most likely can mount it on its side.

You can mount the res horizontally the only thing is they can be trickier to bleed and be more susceptible to sucking air back into the loop.

You could change the res to a bay one if you want?
But it will be fine in its side. I suggest you do it the right way up and bleed then change to its side :)

Cheers guys,

I have had a freaking nightmare trying to get it all tubed up. No space for a bay res as I am getting it all fitted in a Shinobi.

I am currently have the res mounted where the back exhaust fan would go, but I am going to see about perhaps adding my gtx 570 to the loop and adding an extra 120 radiator back there so the res would need to be mounted from the top of the case.

I will put some pics up in a couple of days when it is all finished (for now :) )
