Hi Guys.
I am currently trying to set up my own wired router in my room to link all my computers to the internet. To do this i purchased a Netgear DG834 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-016-NG)
, which works fine when it is the only router plugged into out phone line.
However, my father uses a netgear wireless router in his office and when this is plugged in my router fails to find the internet connection. The phone line in my room is an extension of the one from the office.
My question is, am i able to run two routers on the same internet line. I can see no reason why i am unable to do this, but then again i am a n00b when it comes to networks
Many thanks
Wiz
