Tycoon Games

Evening,

I'm after some addicting Tycoon type game where you manage and run things. I want to play an old one I played years ago at a mates house but I can't think of the name of it. You basically managed a tower block and you had to put in security, stores and a load of other things in as well as charging the tenants, can anyone think what i'm talking about? Also, can anyone suggest some decent Tycoon games?

Sounds like Sim tower to me

A good old classic and you can pick it up free as a download these days.

I'd say Theme Hospital and the Sim City games are probably your best bet. You might also want to check out the old impressions city building games (Caesar, Pharaoh etc)

It's not tycoon but theme hospital is win.

Also, Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 plus the expansion is glorious.

Not tried Sim Tower or RCT but you should be able to get Theme Hospital to run (I've got it on my Win 7 station)

Worst case you should be able to get them to run in the XP virtual machine Mode (depending on version of Win 7) if they won't run natively or in in compatibility mode.

Sim tower is what you are speaking of. There is a similarish flash game available. Other Very addictive ones are Transport tycoon now OpenTTD and also Theme hospital!

I doubt you'll get 1080p lol - they'll strech to fit though - however I play old games like that on my old machine as it looks far to aweful stretched out on 23" lmao.

They do run on Win 7 though - I always have Transport Tycoon installed. It's EPIC! haha

If you can find it and get it to work Pizza tycoon was one from my youth that will never be forgotten.
Theme hospital is awsome as others have said and Sim city is always epic if you really have the patience.
