Hey guys,

Just wondering, is there an application or a way to receive/read SMS messages on a Windows based PC from your iPhone, and then type up an SMS and send a message back, using your PC (but sends through the phone, and displays in your message log?)

My partner has an Android based phone, and he can send/receive SMS messages via the PC through his phone, and receive notifications too - pretty neat feature if you text a lot!

I know iMessages this is probably possible, but I'm referring to network SMS messages here :3

Cheers guys

There is a pretty cool app if you're iPhone is jailbroken. It's called WiFiSMS. It's creates a small web server on you're phone which you can log into from any computer on you're network and view and send messages straight from you're PC :).

And if you're not jailbroken.. Why not already? :P

Holy crap that's awesome! :D

I am jailbroken, and I'm suprised I've not heard of that app before, totally installing and setting this up!

Thanks very much buddy :D

Hi mate, sorry for late reply :3

I tried the program you suggested, but it wouldn't let me load the webpage from my computer. However, I found another app that does exactly the same thing, called Remote Message 2. It's awesome! Would definitely recommend it, you even get desktop notifications and sound alerts for new txt's :3
