After my ssd died last night, I was driving to work this morning and some **** forced me into the bank because he was driving too quickly. Now I'm left with a completely ****ed tyre.

Rims undamaged, the black mark is actually rubber from the tyre.

I have a brand new allow and tyre as a spare in the boot, just a bit pee'd off I have to change it and then replace the tyre. That wear mark is where I hit the bank, the tyre still has enough tread on it.

It happened 5 hours ago, it wasn't really quick :p

Why would someone else going quickly cause you to drive up a bank? Unless you thought they were actually going to hit you or were on your side of the road??

Ah in comes the OcUK motors traffic police to tell you about how bad your driving is. ;)

If you keep your head in your rectum then you might just suffocate ;)

Alternatively, if the OP didn't overreact like a sissy girl then the other car caused an accident and should be reprimanded for it ;)

Or have his windmirror taken off and the other person to **** off never to be seen again.

Now whats cheaper, a new wingmirror or a new tyre.

Weigh it up next time ;)

:D:D

Needs replacing anyway by the looks of it - if the rest are like that you should get them all done.

Exactly, looks like the tyre could do with replacing anyway. Its a blessing in disguise that this happened. How long were you planning on continuing driving on that 'barely legal' tyre?

Ah I forgot to mention this was driving through the lanes. The roads not marked with 2 lanes and in places gets quite narrow. He came round the bend too quickly, I swurved so he could get passed and not hit me and caught the front passenger side wheel on the bank.

when I've replaced just the glass in the mirror before it was £50, think tyres are about £130. They're 235/45/17

It does look worn from that pic but they're not. There's now a big scuffed part along the edge of the tyre where I hit the bank which makes it look worse.

Just demonstrating a run of bad luck probably.

^This :(

Something strange has happened since the forums were kicking out database errors earlier. Every time I click quote I get the same quote I clicked on earlier lol

If you take yours out you might have been able to see how it could happen ;)

Any driver of neglible experience could tell it was an oncoming vehicle who forced him off the road.

But I guess I just have a lot more experience than you :p

If it is just the glass it isn't too bad, but it could destroy the whole thing like happened to me.

Either way, attempting to avoid is the best course of action, sadly you came off badly on this occasion.
