I use the Ring RAC635. More than able to inflate my tyres to 42psi.

I use the same, the gauge is well off - I set it to 43PSI which results in 38PSI - but it works well enough and is at least consistent.

You need to let it settle after. Mine is spot on but you need to keep setting it going until it’s stable. I actually tend to set it to overshoot a little so it settles on the right number.
