Tyre wear

The 2 front tyres on my mondeo have worn on the outside and inside edge after just 6 months and around 10-15k km of normal driving, nothing too fast.

The back tyres were fitted at the same time and are wearing normally.

Is it down to tyre pressure or incorrect alignment/camber do you think?

Get the allignment checked. Also what kind of driving do you do. I know you say not fast but if its all twisty b roads then the tyres do take abit of a beating.

It's country roads mainly, often quite narrow so we're forced to pull onto the grass.

I just thought it was strange that they are worn on the inside and outside especially as the alignment was checked last August when we had the 4 new tyres fitted.

Wearing both edges of the tyre is a sign they are under inflated. If the tracking is out it'll normally be one edge on each tyre.
