Ello overybody, my rear tigar (cheese) tyres are now practically illegal and I want some new goodyears.

I don't want to spend more than £60 on each tyre..........so which ones the best??

The GD3's still the best to go for?

The last set of tyres I got for my VTR were Goodyear HydraGrips, and they were great in the dry, wet, and even SNOW! They aren't as good as the GSD3's I have now, but were more than adequate for the standard VTR rims :)

I would recommend some Goodyear Excellence tyres.

I've had them on my Mondeo for 12k miles and they still have lots of grip!

I've thrashed the car about and they grip very well.

Still there is lots of thread left on the tyre.

They arn't cheap tyres aswell... £57 each corner for the saxo which is more expensive than most of the tyres on mytyres.net (I think the most expensive actually)

Goodyear Excellence are touring tyres designed for long distance Motorway use. I would not, therefore, recommend them for use in a warm hatch like a VTR.
