Hey all,

Another beer(larger) thread.

Tyskie a very nice polish larger, which in my opinion, is a very easy drink.

But at 5.6 it begins to kick your ass a bit.

Just wondering if any one else has had it and what else would you recomend?

I have already had Okocim and Zywiec.

why dont you drink Jack Daniels, Or Jim Bean, Straight?...

that does it nicely for me...

And I prefer scotch to that ********, I drink that when there is nothing good around. Beer(larger) is something I drink when I get in from work/uni/football as I like the taste.

had some of this last night and wasn't bad at all , thought it was polish but couldn't read the label

re the other 2

Okocim is disgusting but Zywiec is passable ( and gets you there :p )

tonight has been messy , not finished yet but so far I have manages 2 bottles of marlboro sauvignon ., 1 bottle of champagne , 2 330ml starapramon and 3 630ml Singha

time to see what more the fridge has to offer :D

I saw some Sol in there earlier but I'm not that ****ed that I have to drink that

Hmmm Sauvignon is not my prefered white, but then i'm more of a red drinking, a nice cabernet sauvignon is gorgeous. I agree with you that Okocim is the worst out of the 3, but I do still like it, I think I prefer Zywiec due to the lemoney after taste.

And yes I hate that the sodding label is polish :(.

All champers sends me loopy so stay away from that :)

My mate had 'The worlds stongest Lager' in a pub today, it was 14% and tasted disgusting

Always does, you need to find a good medium, I like Duvel (translated means "devil" larger) which is from belgium, but a lot of my friends prefer Chimay in its many forms which is a trapaste(sp) beer.

I find most "very strong" beers to be horrible , 6% is about the limit ( singha etc ) although elephant at 7.2% is still palatable

Really?

6% is something I wouldn't consider as "overly" strong, I quite like Leffe among that range, both blond and dark.

But I also really like wheat beers, Maise wells and erdinger being my favourite easy drinking, but Hoegaarden is still my fav atm.

right , well I've drunk the Sol ( you have to feel for mexicans if all they have is this and corona :( )

the choice now is venture to the beer stock that is my garage or go to bed

I prefer bourbons and sour mashes to scotch whiskies. What's your point

As always Rob I will convert you to scotch, you just need the right area on your side, the next meet we both attend ill bring a selection.

I seem to have a sweet spot re beers around the 5-6 % mark , nearly all my favourites fall in this range

:/ sol, I dont mind corona on a hot day, I actually like it.

If you venture to your garage I would suggest something other than beer as its heavy and wont last you aslong as a few bottles of nice red or whisky.
