Hey,

Wondering if anyone's used Uber Exec and / or Lux and what type of car has been used?

Planning a birthday weekend in London and thought it'd be nice to way to travel between venues.

In my experience.

Exec:
90% Merc E Class
5% BMW 7 Series SWB
5% Jaguar XF

Lux:
30% BMW 7 Series LWB
20% Merc S Class
20% Merc S Class LWB
20% Audi A8
10% Jag XJ

You tend to always get sweets / mints / water / iPhone chargers in the Lux.

Perfect, exactly what I was after. Thanks :)

Will need to do a few journeys so will try a mixture of the two. It'd be a bonus to get the new S Class, interior of that looks incredible.

When you book you're told what vehicle it is, if you find you don't like the car, just cancel straight away and simply repeat the process.

If you're in the West end you'll invariably get some nice kit available so you can try a few times to get a car you like.

There is no cancel fee if you cancel within the first few minutes so you can have a few tries at it to try and get the car you desire.

I've found that its roughly 50/50 new/old S Class these days.

Oooh thanks for the tip :p

Will be in the City, Duck & Waffle followed by drinks at Sky Garden is the plan during the day. Unsure as to the evening yet.

Had a whirl in one of these on the weekend, so incredibly easy to book one up on the app.

Yep I used it for the first time on the weekend and loved the simplicity / ease of it and the added safety. Very reasonably priced too (relatively) although a few times the fare did go up by x1.7 or whatever due to busy period. Also waited for 5 mins for our car to turn up and on the tracking system it literally go to about a few streets away and then the guy cancelled the journey!
