This isn't as bad as you think, I am drunk. but the thread isnt about that.

Tonight I spotted a guy in a heap just outside the bus station, I stopped a police car that was going by, and told him to check on this guy, Obviously a police mans initial reaction is, have we done anything. We hadn't. We'd just found a random guy passed out. I was so worried, He didnt look in a natural position, And when the police stopped and shook him. He wasnt moving, I thought he was dead. I'd done nothing wrong, infact i was the good citizen in the way i'd called attention to the guy. But i felt so bad. The guy was properly out cold.

So anyways. Has anyone here been so stupidly drunk they could collapse, in the middle of a street, in an un natural heap, that to me, looked like a dead body?

How much would you honestly have to drink to end up in that state.

I was so worried, Even though I didnt know the guy. Atleast it shows im a good person I guess lol :p

Can't understand it myself - really don't see the fun or point in it...

Been pretty wasted a few times - but never so far that I'm not in control and able to navigate myself home...

Tho I have to admit I've more than once ended up a night sitting on the curb vomiting in the middle of London on a rainy night :S but its usually the coke (I mostly drink JD + coke) rather than the alcohol that results in that happening. I've never even been close to passing out.

Personally, no - but I've known of a couple of people who pretty much drop out cold when they've had too much to drink. To be honest, from what you describe it does sound like perhaps more than alcohol was involved.

Yes when I was young and thought It would be a great idea to drink lots of vodka, got train to mates house and at the top of about 50 concreate stairs collapsed out cold, ended up in his room the next day only know what happened from what he told me.

Every one of my fingers was bruised think I learnt my lesson there, good laugh tho.

Im ok in this respect, in that i can get drunk as hell and pretty much just carry on drinking, but if my body decides its had enough, ill vomit then auto direct myself to my bed asap. So i never really pass out.
I have friends though that have iron stomachs, seems cool cos you can drink anything, but when theyre absolutely hammered its dangerous cos they wont be sick, theyll just pass out. i prefer being sick to potentially dying :)

Had my drink spiked once. There's still a big gap missing of that night. I remember finishing a game of pool, then nothing then the next thing is walking back into the pub an hour later. Where I was, I have no idea. Thumb over the top of my bottle from then on and no drink left unattended.

I have only ever been paraletic once. Never again was in Faliraki club 18-30 3 hour free bar... needless to say I lost a little bit of myself that night, namely my right eyebrow.

Never drunk enough to pass out but one night I left a club without my mates, and when they came looking for me, they found me looking at my phone, walking in a small circle (Almost just spinning) at the bus stop, humming to myself...

Hmm...

I don't like getting too drunk because when I do I tend to throw up a lot, which I don't particularly care about at the time but the next day I get a little embarrassed about how much of a plank I must have looked. I've never got to the state where I have passed out, which I guess is down to the fact that I just throw everything up so I can't get much drunker.

I'm much more sensible now-a-days. I know when I'm getting to the point of losing it so I slow down or stop drinking entirely.

everyone reacts differently

personally, I never lose control of my legs (I just get slower, and can't speak)

my housemate in uni would get jelly legs after 4 or 5 pints, ALWAYS had to carry him after a long day of drinking

i've got another friend that hasn't been sick since he was about 5, quite scary seeing him get in a mess since none ever 'comes up' when you'd expect

I’ve only ever got to the passing out stage once and that was during my stag night due to circumstances out of my control.

I've only ever once had a complete blur of an evening, i remember getting there being outside for a bit and going in and sitting down. The next thing i remember i was outside and getting a lift home. That was about 8 years ago and only recently thought about it and realised the evening was missing lol
