Anyone having trouble resetting your password, dont waste your time. Easiest way i found is

Login into Uplay (if u remember your original password or u have it autologged in)
click on avatar (top right)
it will link you to their site, but dont bother trying to login, doesnt work too good.
instead click on forgotten password, it will auto send you an email to direct link to change your password
relaunch Uplay.
viola - done in 2 mins rather than wait forever for the **** website to work.

I cant believe their site is so poor and disjointed. Even their app has not improved
