I have had trouble getting Vulkan to work on Solus so I switched to Ubuntu budgie a few days ago.
Have to admit, it's pretty decent for an ubuntu distro.

It's the first distro where I have managed to game above 60fps at all times too, with no stutters. Though this could be due to the new nvidia drivers.

It's a desktop environment, i.e an alternative to MATE, GNOME, KDE, Cinnamon etc. Fairly lightweight without being stripped down.

Had a play with budgie for a few days. Sorry lubuntu is far better and more importantly. More stable

Technically, they are exactly the same ;) You just prefer LXDE over Budgie.

Lol I know what you mean. But seriously. I found some bugs in budgie. Shame as it has a nicer interface. But I'll stay with lubuntu for now

Yeah I have a couple bugs in budgie too, I'm willing to live with them though as this is the only DE that I have enjoyed enough to actually stay off Windows 10.
I haven't booted to that HDD in well over a month now.
