Ubuntu Guide

Nearly every question on this forum regarding Ubuntu can probably be solved with that website. It should be put in flashing letters at size 72 across the user's screen when the forums detect the words "Ubuntu" and "help".
 
The original one got a lot of flak from some in the community inc ,I think, some official. Ubuntu virtually took it over and produced an official version in the wiki but I think that has died. The current one you linked to isn't very well known on the forums anymore. I think the original was one of the key reasons why ubuntu became popular as it enabled people with little or no linux experience to get their systems working.

The guy who started it developed medical problems which led him to stop the project IIRC and I always felt he was pretty badly treated at the end.
