There is a link at the bottom to a Fedora 3 guide which is very detailed and easy to follow but I don't know how much of that, if any, applies to Debian based Ubuntu.
I did dabble with Slackware once but that was very many years ago and I've forgotton most of the commands
After years of experience with DOS and Windows, it sucks to be a complete n00b again
