Hi everyone, :)

I recently bought an i7 bundle clocked at 3.8ghz, now my problem is that when i cold boot (Keep comp off for about 6 hours) My system has to reboot 5-6 times to boot, then once booted i need to go in the BIOS (Sometimes) and re-load the OCUK settings.

I know this isn't a major issue, but i'm worried about my hardware being strained everytime my comp has to boot, my comp is usually on for about 6-8 hours a day on weekdays, so it reboots from a cold boot a lot. I have being reading some other posts on this forum about UD5 Instability issue's and cold boot issue's tell me, is it just the board or rushed overclocking?

Also my BIOS is the F7 ver, and no i have not tried the F9e because of other people experiancing that they can't overclock their system with the F9e

Any Advice would help!

THANKS! :D

Welcome to the forums.

Somtimes an increase in vCore will cure a cold booting issue (but it can be a combination of settings) - especially in a system that's heavily clocked.

However, as this is a pre-clocked bundle i would post your above post in the 'Customer Service Forum' - link - and await their response as they will have a better understanding of your setup and posible BIOS settings to fix the problem.
