Udating GPU Bios

It's not a straight forward question.

What are you trying to achieve by updating it?

My view is that if the card does what you want, then don't change the BIOS. If you want to potentially unlock more features, or manually amend the default voltages because you are overclocking or undervolting etc, then sure go for it.

But if you just turn the PC on and play games, I wouldn't bother.

Thanks for the info.

I was just checking out GPU Tweak and it said there was and update but it would not install it said update failed but all is fine as it didn't install.

-f tells the atiflash program to ignore any SSID mismatch and flash anyway, but use with caution and make sure the BIOS you are flashing is the correct one for your card.

I'm pretty sure you've already decided already, but when It comes to bios-Updates - gpu/mobo Ive always taken the approach of just leaving it if everything works, if theirs a specific issue that your experiencing that the update is meant to address then go for it, if your updating it just for the need to be on the latest revision you could be giving yourself a lot more trouble than you expected.
