Good evening gents,
I've been using a WD 1TB external drive for storage on both a Linux and a Windows 7 machine.
All fine for a good while until today when the Windows PC won't see the drive.
I go to disk management and I see a drive marked as having a UDF file format.
The drive works fine on a Linux machine.
From what I can gather UDF is a file format used on CD's and DVD's.
Anyone have an idea what's happening and if it's possible I can recover the drive to it's original NTFS settings?
Thanks.
