You can now download (via the Epic Games launcher) the A Boy and his Kite demo to run on your PC.

Should be a good test for your cards

Well it does run on my GTX670 2GB + 2500k @ 4.5GHZ 8GB RAM.. but its not exactly a smooth experience. The free camera is pretty fine, with the odd pause, but the cinematic was a stop/start mess. To be expected on my PC though, and I'm I'm sure a better card with with more VRAM would fly with it.

It does look stunning.. well worth checking out.

This. Really would prefer to not also have their launcher at the same time. A simple .exe would suffice.

It's a pretty large download as it needs to engine too. The engine alone is 5GB, no idea how big the demo is though as it doesn't say.

There is no other way of getting this unless you have the UE 4.8 installed.

EDIT: The 6GB non-development download is stand alone I think - has an exe, etc. but I have unreal engine installed so dunno if its using that as well.

I'm not sure if there is a link to download without using the launcher though.

BTW my first run took quite a while to start, giving me a black screen for some time before starting.
