Additional notes

Penalty shoot-outs do not count.

For matches originally foreseen to be two legs (home and away) but reduced to a single leg, the calculation of coefficient points per match will be adapted as follows:

Three points for a win (in regular time or extra time)
Two points to each team for a draw (after extra time)
One point for a loss (in regular time or extra time)

Martinez suspended for first leg of semis against Olympiacos. Wouldn't mind so much if his second yellow wasn't for such a weak offenence. Officiating in general last night was pathetic.

12 yellows and not one dirty tackle from either side.

Newcastle were a bit unfortunate with the player they had bought with his huge proven Champions League pedigree getting himself banned and Man U, well not much to be said about them...

That's because they spoke to Marty McFly and Doc Brown and they knew they were going to have bad seasons so threw the champions league so other teams couldn't get a 5th place Champions League spot. 4d chess :)

They also had two of the teams who have made the semis in their group to be fair. Plus there are very few teams with more of a European pedigree than AC Milan.
