Exactly and I think Amorim will hammer that point home too.Should have been a much more convincing scoreline, we created so many chances.

Yeah, I thought Garnacho played better tonight in terms of his decision marking. He looked for the overlap more and tried to play in his teammates. It's just a shame he didn't take the two big chances that fell to him.
Yeh he's the right man for the job imo.God, Amorim's openness about his approach is great to listen to.
Very personable in doing so.

A lot of work to do, Rome wasn't built in a day etc.
Having said that I was very surprised to see Antony start. Who didn't do anything of note that I can remember (shock..).
Not a fan of Mount but he already looks like a different player, good luck to him.
I wouldn't bank on Rashford going anywhere £325k a week until 2028 and he doesn't have to move to a different country.Agreed about Hojlund. The press were saying he should bring his striker from Sporting but Hojlund will be banging them in once he gets the system right and playing well.
Rashford is 100% surplus to requirements. Going to PSG in the summer would be perfect for him and give us some much needed cash for FFP.
Yup.I wouldn't bank on Rashford going anywhere £325k a week until 2028 and he doesn't have to move to a different country.
When you look at that team makeup/formation you set out, it’s pretty good to be fair. Just need Martinez to be firing on all cylinders again as he’s been a little off whenever he’s played this season.People also keep saying we can't play his system with these players, but I think if you lined up with the below, it's a reasonably balanced team. Pace is lacking at CAM, and Mainoo will need to be disciplined, but he can learn.
--------------- Onana -----------------
-------- Yoro - De Ligt - Martinez -----
--Mazraoui - Ugarte - Mainoo - Shaw--
------ Mount ---------- Bruno ----------
--------------- Højlund ------------------
There are variations of this too, Shaw LCB, Dalot at WB, Garnacho and Amad in one of the CAM positions, Rashford and Zirkzee as support for Højlund.
At the moment Amorim just wants to see the players in action and get everyone up to full fitness.
I am delighted with his vibe and approach though, he seems honest, realistic and just a nice guy, but he's also got that ultra competitive demanding streak. As others have said, after a couple of matches and training sessions you can already see what he wants the players to do. It'll just take time to make progress, especially with games every 3-4 days. There will be mistakes.
