Malacia needs a loan, he just looks so off the pace after so long out.
lollet it begin
Is it bad that I don’t feel this is outside of the realms of possibility? You know what's going to happen... we'll loan him out and he'll be great, sign Dorgu for £25m and he'll look worse than Malacia.
I was about to say this combo of commentators is particularly bad. I generally don’t mind Lucy, but the other guy sounds so incredibly OTT with his pronunciations of words where he forces them to end in ‘sschhhh’, it’s distracting.Commentators getting Malacia and Bruno mixed up is a special one.
Malacia looks like a championship player at best. Booked early and looks terrified.Dear Dalot. Please take on your man. Dear rest of team, see Malacia making runs.
Was miles onside there…
It's so ponderous all round. This opposition are nothing but we are not putting them under any pressure. Some good runs being made at the start by Mainoo and Hojlund but not picked out so they've stopped doing it now. Usual United turgid stuff. At least we have Garna and Diallo to change it up in second half. There's no urgency in this team, it just looks like a team of slow midfielders with a bad striker. Awful.

No one beats their man, takes someone on, does something unpredictable that isnt a pass. Mainoo is strolling around instead of offering a pass between the lines. We do a few quick passes that break the through their lines and someone just kills it by turning back towards goal and passing it back.
You have to be able to turn with the ball and get the opposition going backwards in a disorganised way or it’s far too easy.
While that's true, there's no pace in the team either. Hojlund is alright but pretty much everyone else in midfield/attack is slow.
He's made some really good runs, had one chance he should have done better withKobbie is a bit of a concern in terms of what sort of player he is. I think he has regressed this season. He doesn't play with any swagger when his talent should allow that. Lots of people have been asking to see him in the 10 role but I'm not really seeing what he offers yet? Any other thoughts?
