The commentator compared it to Rashfords last night, i cant comment as havent seen his but seemed to imply yet again no consistency
A rubbish end to a rubbish performance. We played like a side that thought we only had to turn to win and or like the players felt it was a punishment to be picked today. The only positive to take from that is it's happened in a relatively meaningless game and it'll serve as a kick up the backside for the squad moving forwards.
Re the VAR call, if it's considered an intentional handball then it can still be given but that seemed a long way back for them to go.

It's Joe Cole, yes.
It depends if they consider it still the same phase of play.

We've looked awful in the last three games, wouldn't be surprised if so many red cards and minutes playing with 10 or 9 men has caught up with some of them.

How are you so positive all of the time
2 of the 3 games were cup games where we've played mixed strength sides and probably not taken as seriously as we should have. I'm not sure any of the players that started today, maybe excluding Mac Allister, have played anywhere near enough minutes for it to have caught up with them. I think it's been more a case of complacency than anything.
