Both Schneiderlin and Schweinsteiger on the bench too. Although i suppose it's not like Herrera and Carrick are bad choices.
 
I don't understand what the point is when managers ask players to prove themselves alongside players that they will never play with in the first choice XI. Herrera should be in the first XI yet he seems to get most of his opportunities in less serious games alongside second string or strange selections.
 
Not sure I've seen a worse 13 mins of football than hererras since gerard against utd..

If he doesn't get subbed off at half time or before he's going to get sent off and cost us the game.

We don't have anything like the urgency or penetration that we will need if we are to do anything of note this season. Always playing the safe ball sideways or backwards instead of taking a chance passing forwards.
 
We look so lethargic. Everyone seems content to just stand there and wait for the game to happen. Depay is not getting involved at all. Darmian has made some good runs though.
