UEFA Champions/Europa League Qualifying Play-Off ** spoilers ** [26/27/28 August 2014]

He had one game(half maybe) in the emirates cup and immediately looked more threatening than pretty much everyone else, took an excellent goal and showed smart movement and good interplay.

He certainly didn't look average at best, and he's barely been seen at Arsenal, the glimpse we've had he scored and looked better than Sanchez by a mile in the emirates cup, miles and miles better than Cazorla who has literally been shocking in every game so far.

I'm also not sure, did Cazorla also do a ridiculously blatant dive there?

Sorry he was average....Sanogo scored 4 in the same game, means sod all!

He's played a bit and not looked like anyone deserving of a start imo. That said, half our current team don't look much better so far this season

Are you thinking about Sanogo? Campbell had 20 mins against Everton, in which we scored 2 goals and he didn't look great, but he's been given no game time to get match fit. He was great in the emirates cup and got 15 mins against City at the end of the game.

Average is about seventeen levels above where Cazorla, Ozil and Sanchez have performed as yet this season.

We'll have to agree to disagree :D

Yay, Cazorla passed it to their keeper from a freekick.... brilliant. Woeful form as he's currently playing.

Also Sanchez has been diving all game long, been a couple genuine fouls on him but mostly he's just flopping over.

Arsenal have literally no energy to get the ball forward or keep hold of it, so Wenger makes no changes . Two subs of attacking players to take the ball into the corners or hold it upfront, but no Wenger knows better.

Well, if the ref was any good we'd be 2-0 down and a man down and what happened from then on who knows.

Wenger is consistently making bizarre and stupid decisions, despite multiple players being woeful he refuses to make subs, even when the players are shattered and it's leading to consistent pressure he makes no changes. One terrible call and one poor but understandable call from the ref have saved us. The performance was shocking, we've been shocking in everything but the charity shield... where City looked barely awake.

To be honest with Caz, yes he's not been quite up to it so far but by no means as bad as you're making it out. On top of that you'd only complain if we stopped playing him and start waffling about how Wenger destroys players confidence by not letting them play through it. Always something with you Mr Brightside.

He's crap out wide, he was crap out wide last season, and the few times he was played out wide the season before.

He's awful out wide, nothing about poor form, the longer we play him in a position he's completely uncomfortable with the less confidence he'll have. We have central players, we have no space for him in the team, rather than playing wide forwards we have who are high quality like Podolski, we're playing a guy who is rubbish there, hurts the team, hurts the player and hurts the players we are refusing to play.

He won't magically get good wide, it's not his game, he doesn't have the pace, strength or style of play to be good out there.

Sell Caz(we screwed him by bringing in Ozil and with Ramsey in there who could be in the same role), there is no room for him in the squad, let him play centrally somewhere else, and let our wide players get games.

Also yes, Cazorla has been absolutely terrible. He's been conceding possession, killing attacks, woeful delivery, even the couple of freekicks and corners he's taken have been terrible.

By several accounts he wants to move and Wenger wants to keep him to play him out of position, he'd be happier gone but Wenger has his odd plans. He was trying to get rid of Podolski who has a fantastic record for us, and keep a player who wanted to leave and use him in a position he's poor in. Wenger and his favourites, hurting the team and the player by making stupid choices that upset everyone and cost us points every season.
