Gutted I couldn't find a ticket for the FC Twente vs Spurs game. Still going to Amsterdam on Tuesday.

We need the win as want to qualify top of the group and miss the big guns in the knock outs. Although admit that any team in the 2nd round is going to be tough

Oh not ITV nooooooooooooooooo. :(

Nobody should have to put up with Chiles, Tyldesley and Townsend in the same evening. Ahhh it's on 5 live as well, pictures by ITV commentary by Radio 5, muuuuch better.

Meh. Man Utd are through. No need to worry but still unbeating and 5 clean sheets in the group. Thats something to hold onto I guess. Hope SAF doesn't play a young team like he did against west ham.

Will be looking forward to see if Aresenal can make it.

Can't believe we're last to qualify, and that there's the possibility on game 6 we may not. We had the easiest draw back in September as well..

We need to match or better Inter's result to finish top and avoid the big boys.

You'd still have to face tough teams no in the knock out stage anyway. Barca, Real, Man Utd and Chelsea all looking at playing against each other in the next stage.

Spurs could end up playing AC Milan, Valancia or Roma if they come second in the group stage.

Right? lol.

S'alright, you're new to this. We understand. ;)

:D

Usually it was just willing Liverpool would crumble. Have more Liverpool supporting mates than Arsenal.

Funny, I used to like Liverpool until I met a couple more fans who were the most infuriating people to talk about football with. They made me despise most scousers.

I really really really hope Man U face off against Barca in the next stage. If we go out, we go out against the best team in the world. I think Barcelona will win everything this season.

Oddly enough as well I'm starting to feel the same about Spurs' fans. :o

You try living in the city. It's a red thing as well, Everton fans aren't the same.

Oh. Embarrassed to say I didn't know that.

Aye Europe has it's own set of different rules. How you were seeded at all on your Champs League debut is another puzzle. :p

Surely it would be better to face them later in the competition? For financial and ranking reasons if for nothing else?

Hope we play a strong team against Valencia, something like the below;

GK: VDS

RB: Rafael
CB: Smalling
CB: Vidic
LB: Evra

RM: Nani
CM: Carrick
CM: Scholes
LM: Giggs

CF: Rooney
CF: Hernandez

Should be enough to see us through in top spot :)

that team would be great......reports that Neville trained with the 1st team also (and I cant SAF wanting to give him a subs run out in preperation for Arsenal)....the guy is Utd thru and thru, but his legs have completely gone he really shouldnt be starting and only being a sub in the worst of scenarios

I want to see Spurs vs Barcelona in the next phase.

I genuinely think Spurs would give them a really really good game.

They dont know how to play any other way, its great entertainment. It would be like a basketball match, real end to end stuff, with some great attacking moves.

Are you serious? Barcelona would beat Spurs about 10 - 0 and I wouldn't be surprised if the ball never left Spurs' half. End to end, haha, Crouch vs Barca, haha. People really are getting a bit over excited about Spurs. Inter are a decent side this season, struggling a bit, Barca are possibly the best side any of us have ever seen.
