Whats up with starting Cancelo? He's barely played this season, massive WTF moments in some of the decisions from Pep in this game.

Completely agree. He wants people to question him only for City to win and he basks in some mad glory.
I said the same thing, if he stays on his line the only way the first goal is being scored is if it flies into the top corner. With Ederson in no mans land all he had to do was get it on target granted it was still a good finish.
He came out because Lyon's striker was getting through, I thought that was ok but once he was there he had to let it at Cornet rather than trying to retreat

I wouldn't blame Ederson at all for the first goal:
Two players between him and the goalscorer, he'd have to go around making it an open goal.

If its on the floor I agree but controlling a ball like that and being clear on goal with a cb a yard away? Not for me. Have faith in your defenders imo.
