Sociedad had a penalty, Vela took a decent penalty, great save, he scored the follow up, for some reason when another Sociedad player went to get the ball the keeper grabbed him around the neck and sent him flying into the goal... no idea why. Just got a yellow but really looked like a red, complete stupid thing to do for no reason. RIght infront of the ref and the useless goal line refs.

I've seen plenty of keepers grab the ball or get in the way, but grab a player and fling the into the goal net for no reason was so way over the top.

I think it's just Bayer vs Sociedad, not vs ARsenal too..


It was a good game but didn't catch it all, fantastic first 20 mins, I missed most of the second half.

Think Pelegrini will probably learn soon that Navas is a bit crap and there was a reason none of the big teams in SPain have shown any interest for years. Likewise he'll come to realise Nasri isn't the guy for these games at all. Doesn't help for either RIchards or Navas that there is zero partnership there and Navas is hardly good defensively.

Still think City's biggest problem is Nasri/Silva really only fitting on on the wing and being no where near fast or strong enough, and Navas has the pace but not the strength or quality.

Real have Ronaldo, Barca have Messi, Bayern have Ribery and Robben... City just don't have anyone anywhere near being in the same league to help unlock a team like Bayern. Navas was a poor buy, they should have been looking at someone truly world class.


3-0... don't think Bayern are done yet either.
