As for not having a plan B, there really isn't a plan B at Barca.

They play football the write way, it's not just a tactic, it's a mentality and a philosophy they have at the club. They're not going to turn in to Stoke because things get a little bit tough.

If a tactic isn't working, why revert to such horrific tactics? Why not try and just change things around and expolit weakness's and try something a bit different without raping the beautiful game?

Christ, it's that attitude that holds English football back.

Play football the right way? They didn't last week they were ****** boring for 45 mins of the match. Someone should have told them that to score goals you need to actually move the ball into the box occasionally with your little passing triangles.

Yeah, Barca can and do play balls over the top when it's needed. Was it Espanyol they beat recently doing that?

EDIT: It's ridiculous to suggest Barca should compeltely change their game plan on account of a slender away loss in which they played very well at times. I'm over the moon with the score, but it could just have easily been about 2-4.

im not saying they need to change their whole plan if it isnt working, but the only person i can see on their bench that could make a difference is mascherano, he would be in their giving them a physical presence they so badly needed against arsenal.

they have nobody to rely on should their starting 11 fail.

this shows that their squad is very thin and all their eggs are in 1 basket.

look at all their players, they are small and dont like aggressive play apart from maybe villa. iniesta and xavi fall apart as soon as 2/3 crunching tackles hit them much like robben.

So what your saying is to stop Barca you should "break legs" and put "crunching" tackles in?

Christ :(

@ Sham, they do play football the right way, it might not be the usual end to end, fast paced football which is also void of any real quality that you see in the Premier League, but Barca played very well, good technical football.

How often do Barca's starting eleven fail? Really? One below par performance against a very good counter attacking Arsenal and Barca suddenly need to start "breaking legs". Pathetic.
