UEFA Champions League/Europa League 16/17/18 February *** Spoilers ***

Just incredible really. Forget the injuries, there is no fight in the team. Poor coaching, garbage tactics, awful/non-existent game management.

Midtjylland could have easily scored 4. Romero kept us in the tie.

It's pathetic. LvG has to go.

Thing is, this hasn't changed anything. Its not the straw that broke the camels back and its not going to lose LvG his job. We reached a low point over the new year and everything that is happening now is just a reflection of that. If the board could end the season now they would but they ain't sacking LvG before then.

Maybe not, but he should just offer to resign with a slightly reduced payoff. I can't see a reason to keep him, one of the youth team managers would be better. Joyce is highly rated.

So Napoli beat this lot 9-1 on aggregate earlier this season. What is most surprising really is how little United fans actually care/are surprised by this. We have genuinely got to the point where the running of our club is comical. I would normally be ****ed off after this sort of result but its so common now that its just funny seeing how bad we are while the LvG circus rolls onto the next game.

And to think I was given **** when I said this guy was a footballing dinosaur. If he's still in place when I wake up in the morning no one should go to OT for the next match. Why the hell is he still in a job!

Say your in talks with anyone and the huge bell end will walk of his own accord and think he's the moral victor.

Do MUFC want to allow LVG to get to the end of the season and allow him to slink away into the night? The options in my head are

1. Sack him - anytime, either now or at the end of the season, if at the end of the season why now not, its still the same "embarrassment" of sacking another manager
2. He's agreed to resign at the end of the season / be paid off without the embarrassment of the sack - then get Jose...
3. They think that he will turn it around? Given he will leave after his final year contract I just cannot see that as viable, or remotely sensible

thing is, I care. but everyone seems to dispute with me just haw awful our performances are, even when we scrape shady victories from nothing and tell me how good Memphis is, despite his goals coming against Brugge and I cant even spell their name.

its like fans have become complacent with last minute in jury time come backs etc. what happened to going out and winning a game of football all over the park?

Nobody is disputing it with you, but the reality is you're more cheerful now than when we used to actually win things.

Memphis can't be a total fraud, he's been the standout player in a fairly decent league, but he looks terrible at the moment.

Carrick looks a broken man in that interview, but he did before the game too.

Isn't something to do with results/possibilities. Technically when they can't reach the top 4, he can be sacked without having to pay larger sums/fees?

However, a club the size of Man Utd, it'll be small change to them. Can't believe how he's still there to be honest.
Jose would never come in until the summer and start fresh. You'd probably have to rely on Giggs or someone......maybe Neville :D

We care but not in a way that means we actually get upset when the inevitable happens.

We turn very few games around in the dying minutes of the game these days and when you general performance level is a 3/10 and 6/10 is a good day. We have a **** manager, a load of injuries and a bunch of players who couldn't care less and don't want to play for the manager.

I'm not even disappointed anymore. I actually feel really sorry for LVG. He looks a defeated man and I hate seeing such a respected manager basically drowning.

Please, for his own sake, put the man out of his misery. This just isn't fair on the team, the fans, or the man himself.
