If a red and penalty is too much punishment is a discussion, but the rules as they stand are clear as day. Also as the rule has stood and other teams including those who Arsenal have played have had this rule work against them. The only fair thing is for the rule to apply all season/competition long. Can't change it when it suits.

Main thing is 3-4 defenders could have seen and matched that run, a midfielder or two and the keeper could have reacted quicker and gotten to the ball first. Great run, fantastic ball over the top but it was relatively easy to defend if one of like 5 separate Arsenal players saw it coming which they didn't.
