UEFA Champions League/Europa League 2/3/4 October *** Spoilers ***

Dortmund were just so good today. They could have scored a hat full on another day. Every time they get the ball the amount of off the ball movement is excellent, always looking for space to receive a pass. City just couldn't deal with it at all.

Being a United fan it was great to see City struggle, but I'm under no illusions. Dortmund would have battered United as well. Probably even more so!

From what I've seen of CL football this year, albeit only 2 matchdays worth..
None of the English teams will be at Wembley in May.

What a rubbish article...

Then, on October 2, Ramsey netted one against Spurs at White Hart Lane.

Three days later, Apple guru Steve Jobs died aged 56 at his home in California following a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer.

Three days later! Given how many famous people there are out there, the fact Ramsey is a midfielder and thus likely to get the odd goal and the fact everyone dies and there is no amazing coincidence even if they all died on the day he scored, but linking the death of Jobs to Ramsey goal scored three days prior is pretty desperate to maintain this 'link'.

Maybe he killed 'Big Jim' Sullivan too...

Joe Hart was class again tonight, City wouldn't be doing half as good this season without him their defence has been very flakey.

Dortmund looked very good tonight; a wonderful performance from Hart and poor finishing stopped them winning that match by a very big margin.

City were very poor and I thought the penalty was harsh.

Well that'd be because people would be watching United game, going by the empty seats no one was arsed with City :p

Its a bad state of affairs (for all connected with City at least) either way I guess but I wonder if the seats were empty because;

1) People expected City to win anyway (especially with their home record)

or

2) Group of Death syndrome

I guess it depends on what happens with the RM /BD back to back games over the next few weeks, but City really needed the three points last night (as well as home and away wins vs Ajax) to stand a chance of progressing.
