Shouldnt have any trouble dispatching Girouds old team, Montpellier this week coming.

But as with Arsenal, you can never be too sure but hopefully that win over Spurs on the weekend will give us some much needed confidence especially our cack assed defence as we look bewildered at times when teams are pushing for a goal against us:p.

Alves shoots and scores from outside the box after Messi et al. try to walk it in through about 7 Spartak players!

That lad again... Messi with the second for Barca. 20th different stadium in European comp football he's scored in and 79th of the calender year.

I think we might struggle tonight, RDM has said he's going to be a bit more defensive and probably drop Torres, the latter's not a bad thing though but the former might suit Juventus.
We'll probably still let in silly goals even if we do focus more on the defensive side.
Still, if we do get knocked out we can just go in to the Europa league and take that off Spurs too. There's nothing they can do about it, they know who the apex predators are.

0-3 ... don't need to tell you who scored.

80th goal of the calendar year. So so so so easy.

#MUFC XI: Lindegaard, Rafael, Jones, Carrick, Buttner, Fletcher, Cleverley, Anderson, Powell, Welbeck, Hernandez

#MUFC Bench: Johnstone, Wootton, Young, Cole, Vermijl, Macheda, King

More experience than I was expecting in the side. I'd hoped that Rafael would have been given a rest at least and that not both Clev/Ando started so that they were fresh for the next match (I can't take Scholes/Giggs again) but hopefully they're off after 60minutes or so.

Chelsea:

Team: Cech; Ivan, Cahill, D Luiz, Cole; Ram, Mikel; Azpilicueta, Oscar, Mata; Hazard

Subs: Turnbull, Bertrand, Romeu , Marin, Piazon, Moses, Torres

Odd Chelsea line up -

Cech, Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Cole, Mikel, Ramires, Azpiliceuta, Oscar, Mata, Hazard
Bench: Turnbull, Marin, Moses, Piazon, Torres, Romeu, Bertrand

Playing with no striker, which to be fair is what we've doing all season so that shouldn't make much difference. 2 RBs too, daring.

Edit: It took me over 5 mins to post that, I'm so on the ball.
