Kind of looks that way. Both teams seem to be the stand out performers in the CL so far.

Porto have been super budget from what I have seen and PSG are defending like they are run by Brazilians at the back...
 
He was never amazing on the offence either. A decent player, nothing more and the fact that PSG paid Chelsea 50m for him is absolutely laughable.

That's a bit harsh, the first part anyway. He's a naturally gifted player but doesn't have the discipline to be a CB. He looked at his best and a quality player when he played in midfield under Benitez at Chelsea and I have no idea why he's not been played there more in the past 2 seasons.

And not that it makes much difference but Chelsea's accounts showed that his cost was more like £40m than £50m.
 
Luiz did actually look fairly good when playing further forward for Chelsea, his problem is that he's a dire CB not that he's a dire footballer. He's probably much better suited as a CM or a CDM in a 4-2-3-1 in my opinion. His strength are more akin to Yaya Toure than to any decent CB.
 
I never said he was rubbish but I have never seen him look brilliant. He has played well in some games I have seen but never anything special and never good enough for a top team in Europe.

I agree, he had a couple of good games for Chelsea in midfield but he's no more than like a Sissoko for Newcastle; 40m for him was just utter, utter madness.
 
Porto have been much better than Bayern this half but I get the impression that Bayern have entirely taken their foot off the gas.
