UEFA Champions League/Europa League 21/22/23 February *** Spoilers ***

They were never really going to get far, and Napoli and Milan are a couple of the weaker teams in the competition.

Still doesn't take away the fact that you were spanked out of it by weaker teams and never made it this far.

Indeed not, which is a shame because had we not faltered in the group stages we would be able to represent English football better than anyone else at this stage.

I think Man City could have done really well too.

Ah the famous what could have been card. All conjecture and a rather pointless debate. You weren't good enough to represent English football in the top league and nothing much has changed since then.

Why has this game kicked off at 5pm?

By the way, the reason City are playing Porto so early today is twofold: Firstly, Greater Manchester Police would not let this game take place on the same night as Manchester United's home game with Ajax. And, secondly, Uefa would not let it take place at the same time as this evening's Champions League games.
