It's all so typical Fergerson. He's making a point re. Ferdinand and it's blowing up in his face. Carrick was awful in that position before and with just a semi-fit Fletcher, who's only in the team anyway because he's a scot in front it's no wonder we're there for the taking.

Keeper should've saved that but it was great movement by Hernandez to find the space and a nice dink from Kagawa.

RVP beats his man, and another, makes another goal.... good ball from Kagawa and not bad finish but he had space there from RVP beating the two guys, might actually be a dangerous team this year if they didn't insist on being utter turd for 20+ mins of every game first.
Torres just pulled off some nice moves in the box, doing a few players but his pull back wasn't great, if it had been to one of two chelsea players probably 1-1.

No we've played three games with it before and won all three.
The main issue is the backline and the fact no one else has decided to turn up, I wouldn't say the line up is totally wrong apart from perhaps Kagawa swapping for Ando for more battle and perhaps Carrick for Wooton, the main problem is everyone is sloppy and being a numpty.
EDIT: On the Rio front, I don't think he's making a point tonight, resting him for Chelsea was always going to happen.

Ref's so often do that, if the outcome is good they often let the player off, if they'd gotten no where he'd likely have carded him.

The thing is it doesn't really suit Kagawa or Valencia. Honestly I don't think fergie has a clue, I've yet to see a formation that effectively uses the players we have.
Apart from the fact that this is the formation that we've arguably played the most fluid football in this season, OK.....

I think it suits kagawa. He just should be played were Rooney is.
