Lovely composure to pull the ball across.

1-0 isn't the end of the world for Liverpool, more than capable of winning against this lot at home. Obviously away goals would be the worry.
 
Mignolet and Milner both had excellent games but Lallana and Firmino were both shocking. Ibe is one of the biggest wastes of space to ever wear a Liverpool shirt. 1-0 down and I don't fancy our chances in the return leg.
 
You ****ing joking blowing the whistle bang on 93, they scored on the 91st minute and just kicked off.

Pretty shocking, Villareal weren't very good, should've had them beat

Forget Toure, it's Moreno and Lucas to blame. Why's Moreno so far forward so late on and then why is Lucas coming flying out to try and win the ball in the last minute with the game 0-0? Toure might have done better but he's been left isolated by those 2.
 
Moreno needs to do more there at the end, obviously nakered though from his previous run. Lallana should have headed that ball straight thru to benteke as well before he lost possesion

EDIT: Nvm lol, thats ******** (from me) should've moved quicker
Didn't see what Lucas did but I can believe it, hopefully we can get a decent defensive mid in the summer

EDIT2: Actually Kolo has to slide there, if he goes round Mignolet he couldn't do anything anyway, literally all he had left he could do was slide and block and he didn't, sigh.

In the build up the ball was played into midfield and Lucas, rather than sit in, has flown foward to try and pinch the ball and got no where near it. There player's just layed it off and then hit the ball to Suarez. Had Lucas still been sat infront of the defence then Toure could have given himself a wider position to cut out the ball to Suarez.
 
They weren't anything special and you'd fancy us at home but 1-0 is such a deceptively **** score. If they score first it's almost game over.
 
Just go yolo at home, that was ****ing painful to watch today and Klopp made some absolutely awful decisions. (Mainly letting Ibe get on the plane)
 
We were too negative today. We kept getting in positions around their box but never had anybody in there. I lost count of the amount of times we got behind their fullbacks and swung a cross into nobody.
 
Hate to say it but I think that result was down to Klopp. I really do think that Villarreal were there for the taking, from what I saw last night they seem to be far better at defending than attacking (and that in itself is a worry if they decide to park the bus at Anfield because they seemed very VERY solid in defence).

Klopp should have gone far more attacking than he did and I dont think having both Allen and Lucas in midfield works. Ibe seems to have slightly lost his way on the road to potential (I think Ojo is looking better than Ibe at this point). Moreno yet again showed he is better on the left wing than as a left back. Toure was solid overall. Firmino was pretty ineffective and Lallana was wasteful on a number of occasions.

Unless there is something going on with Sturridge fitness wise that we dont know about, not playing him at some point last night was a big mistake, especially as I think we could have got a goal against them last night. Not putting Sturridge on the pitch last night actually felt strangely similar to Rodgers bad decision not to pick Gerrard against Real Madrid
