UEFA Champions League/Europa League 3/4/5 May *** Spoilers ***

it's painfully dull but for some reason I really like Atletico. How do they actually score goals though? How are they competitive in the league? They must be a completely different side against the average Spanish side?

37% possession at home against Rayo at the Weekend. Rayo are in a relegation battle.

Athletico know that Bayern are the better team if they both go at each other and at the start of the game they had the advantage. They would have been stupid to play any other way really. Usually teams like Bayern/Barca can have an off day but to expect that twice in a row in a knockout comp is unrealistic.

They will hope for a little bit of luck, a fast counter attack or simply hope to beat Bayern on penalties.

Not sure it was offside. Looked like the defenders leg was outstretched as he tried to play Griezeman offside.

Suicidal defending from Bayern. They push so many players up when attacking and leave themselves open to the counter attack. It happened time and time again against Real a few seasons ago and they haven't learned.

Every time I have seen Vidal for Bayern he shoot far too much from range and is generally hugely average. He was great for Chile
