It's the usual from UEFA:

In line with UEFA’s policy to promote the competition among the general public, a total of 38,000 tickets, representing 79% of the net stadium capacity of 48,000, will go to the supporters of the two finalist teams and to neutral fans. Out of this allocation, the two finalist teams will receive a total of 20,000 tickets - 10,000 each - for distribution among their supporters. A significant allocation - 30% of these tickets - has been made available in category four, ensuring as wide as possible access to the match for the finalist clubs’ fans.

The remaining tickets are allocated to the local organising committee, to UEFA’s 53 national football associations and to commercial and broadcast partners.

Another one of those nights at Stamford Bridge. We should have been in the lead at halt-time but sat back and you could see that Basel goal coming. You all know what know what happened next. The David Luiz cracker was his best yet. I’m surprised that Basel had so little to show over two legs but we all know why that is. Nothing more to add except that I’m tired, hoarse and over the moon. :D

Quite something really, two poor seasons in the premier league and they get to two consecutive european finals. I hope Chelsea win it :)

As I've hinted at before, if you try and win everything, beyond ridiculous budgets like Bayern/Barca/Real and Utd(though they have been crap in europe for a couple years), you fail, like Arsenal, and suck on all fronts. Chelsea have suffered in league form while winning cups and getting to finals. If they put more effort into the league and less into Europe they'd do better in the league, but not 20+ points better, and worse in Europe. Even with the HUGE budgets of Bayern, Real, Barca, their domination tends to come in spurts, a few years then going after all competitions leads to squad burn out, tiredness, a poor season, and lots of eventual injuries.

Why are Arsenal so desperate to compete one very front equally and win(and come close to) nothing, when we could just prioritise better and do better? Why not sack off Europe and play our youngsters/Arshavin/Chamakh, still suck in Europe but maybe win the FA Cup or do well in the league, or screw off the league and put every focus into all 3 cups.

Dortmund put more focus in the league last year than Europe and won that, this year they suck(comparitively) in the league, are what 20+ points behind in the league... and in a European final, they've prioritised Europe this year rather than both.

Sack off the league, focus on europe, with a 150mil squad we'll still be top 8, probably 5th/6th, get in Europa, maybe focus on that the next year, drop out of Europe, then you go all out in the league with no distractions. 4th is the worst "goal" ever, because its meaningless, why do we insist on trying to get into Europe when we aren't competitive in Europe? We spend more having "all competitions sized squad" at 150mil, vs Spurs 90mil, than we make being in the champs league. Save 60mil on the team, lose 20mil certain champs league money, still probably get 10mil every year from Europa....

Trying to win something than failing to win everything is a much better target.
 
Can't remember which of the Chelsea boys it was but I said months ago they'd loose to City in the FA Cup and they had a better chance in this competition, whoever it was I hope they now realise they should listen to their Uncle Tom :)

Congrats to Chelsea for getting to the Europa Cup final, will be something else if they manage to win it. 2 Euro cups in 2 seasons, not bad not bad at all.
