Well not quite the bumming that was expected

Probably should've won that, decent game in general from the defenders, Clyne targeted massively I thought and did reasonably well.
 
Personally feel that was a very good performance and a very well setup team.

I hope we get something out of the return leg at Anfield and pick up where we left off. Sakho was ace tonight and I usually spend 90 minutes slating him! :D
 
Played really well but so frustrating not to have won. Origi's chance just before HT and then the cluster of chances after they equalised would have set the 2nd leg up really nicely for us had we managed to take 1.

If we play like that in the 2nd leg, with a fit Firmino in the side I'd fancy us to cause them a lot more problems than we did today. The concern is whether we can defend like that again.
 
Thought we played really well, Allen did good when coming on considering little play time he has. An away goal is always good so bring on 2nd leg!
