Got lucky with the first as Giroud should have nailed it but luckily for him Walcott was there to put it in. Second goal was set up by Pod who sent a lovely cross for Giroud to head it in.

Do they deserve to be 2 goals up??...hard to say as Schalke dominated from the start but Arsenal since the first goal have looked pretty solid but i still fully expect Schalke to score at least a goal.
 
Oh dear looks like Giroud is injured...time for the Chamakh attack???

EDIT: think hes ok...hopefully.
 
Gotze with the goal. Really nice control and balance. Other players probably would have gone down.
 
As a bitter spurs fan, I can't help but want all the English teams to crash and burn. However I know this will be bad for the league year on year.

But my thanks go out to Huntelaar and Siem De Jong all the same.
