UEFA Champions League/Europa League ** Spoilers ** [1/2/3 November 2016]

It is that they are still getting results when changing a few players like they did last night which is a step up on previous years.

I must say however that I am never confident of a positive result when I see Gibbs at left back.

They did look quite threatening on a couple of occasions in the first game and did play some nice football but were just suicidal with their defending. They are certainly not mugs though, as mentioned above they have lots of pacey tricky players.

I thought we were going to lose even when we got it back to 2-2 so was quite pleased to come away with a win considering how badly we started. I am concerned as to how much impact Giroud and Ramsey being included had on the pace of our attack. I really hope we don't play them in big games.

Gibbs is much improved on a recent Monreal, not sure what's up with him but he got completely roasted by Barrow multiple times and he's awful.

Spurs cannot afford a defeat tonight. A draw and they still have their noses slightly in front. A win would pretty much secure qualification, but they cannot score atm. A loss and it's desperate times as I cant see them getting a win at Monaco. They would have to rely on CSKA to get a win against Bayer and I can't see that happening.

This whole topping the group thing for Arsenal this year is a bit redundant. There are some really tough teams in a single group. Win the group and you could currently face Bayern, Dortmund, Sevilla, City, Spurs etc.
Main thing was to qualify comfortably unlike previous seasons, and we've done that :)

No easy ties, but at least it's not Barca, Bayern & Real that we have to face next if we top the group

I see what he's saying though. Most years a few noticeably weaker teams fight their way to a second place like your Gent's or Zenit's. Currently all the top 2 are bloody solid, with the possible exception of group G, Leicester and Copenhagen.

Winning the group and getting Copenhagen would be an absolute touch.
