lol, ref giving a truly ridiculous red for Vert in the Spurs game, insane. Just turning around and puts up a arm, no sped, no damage, touches the guys shoulder with his fore arm and he gives him a red for a intentional elbow.
Would be surprised if that wasn't appealed and rescinded fairly quickly and easily.
Ramos scored himself a bicycle kick goal in that game but Kovacic seemed to get injured. Not sure but I think they have quite a lot of people still out through red cards and injuries for the league at the weekend now. Marcelo, Ronaldo, Ramos, Benzema.

Klopp will never win anything at Liverpool unless he realises defending is a part of football. Our defence get absolutely no protection from midfield and the back 5, as a unit, continue to get worse under him. All well and good putting everything in to attack but the defence will be his and our downfall.

Why do you feel a dm fixes it? Our defence make errors that a dm can't fix regardless e.g playing them onside, can't clear basic balls into the box, leave gaps wide open nothing a dm can fix that's the players themselves and or crap coaching

It may or may not fix things but name a big team that doesn't play a DM of some sort?
Klopp's success at Dortmund came with Bender playing as a DM so surely he realises the importance of one?

They'll be calling for his head if games continue to go like that, they had so much opportunity going forward in that 2nd half and couldn't produce a goal. No out and out goal scorer and you cringe whenever a team attacks with that defending.
Matip makes so many errors as well, just basic things like getting rid of the ball instead of trying to hold onto it and lose it giving them ridiculously good opportunities.

Matip wasn't great either tonight but he's usually having to defend for two players so I'm more forgiving of him than I am of Lovren or Klavan.
Doing everything we should be doing then? Every team does this, not sure what the issue is tbh.
We didnt lose because they surrounded the ref, we lost because we cant defend.
