Why does the ball hate Salah so much at the moment? Even the simplest of balls his way seems to bounce off him and away.

Napali score and massively deserved goal. We've been appalling.

Completely agree. Barca have been diving and wasting time for the last 20 minutes or so since our goal and only we looked like scoring. Poor goalkeeping error just like in the first minute has been the running theme for us.
 
Poor old Alderweirald didn't even bother trying to close Messi down there. Simply finish.
 
Cant fault Napoli for that, we have been utterly shocking. I really dont know whats happened to our famous front 3, they look really disjointed lately and both Firmino and Salah seem to have totally lost their shooting boots. We've looked disjointed, sloppy, tired even at times in this match, but thats the worst I've seen us play for a long long time.
 
I think us and Liverpool should get together and sack off the champions league this year. Let the others have a go at it and we can fight for the league. Hopefully their attentions will be elsewhere
 
Avoid defeat today and we've got a foot in the next round but that was an atrocious performance. I can't remember our midfield 3 and fullbacks being as poor as they were today. We couldn't string 2 passes together and it meant we were having to defend attack after attack and while we were defending well on the whole, a goal was always on the cards.

Because our front 3 barely touched the ball because those behind them were awful. Sturridge today would have been like playing with 10 men.

Our front three were just as poor, Firmino has been poor since season started hasn't even looked remotely player was last year.

Again, they barely had a touch. There was no base for the team to play from with our midfield 3 and fullbacks having by far the worst performances they've put in for ages. Playing somebody like Sturridge today would have been a disaster - in a game when you're not controlling the ball you need front players that are going to put a shift in, be able to offer some sort of link to the midfield and or be a threat on the break. Sturridge doesn't offer any of that - he's now a player who relies on service in and around the 18 yard box.

As for Firmino, the opening couple of games he didn't play well but since he's played well imo.
