UEFA Champions League/Europa League ** Spoilers ** [20/21/22 October 2015]

It's not an amazing game plan if you need a handball to win the game but fair play to Arsenal, they played pretty well and took advantage of a misfiring Bayern.

The game plan was to sit deep, counter quick and incisively. They did that, which then causes mistakes.

Giroud handballed it and Neuer went walkabouts. It's absolutely about luck. Was that in the "game plan"?

As above, the game plan was quite obviously to sit deep and frustrate Bayern, and to counter quickly. That is always going to create mistakes, and that's what happened.

You know when a team gets a result when they have been written off by pretty much everyone, and you still can't get any credit - It comes across as nothing but bitterness.

Remember Bayern didn't have Robben or Ribbery on the night , and Thiago missed two fantastic chances.........in the away match

The group stage isn't about one match , its about 6 of which Arsenal dismally failed in 2 out of 3 so far

Its not exactly anything to write home about even after a reasonable win at home (again , assisted by a handball, and lucky not to concede a penalty earlier in the match)

Chelsea won the CL a few years ago just like that, it was fantastic listening to non-Chelsea fans cry about it.
Just enjoy the win and the fact that your team did what they had to do to get it, sometimes that's all that matters.

It's not like the 2 goals were Arsenals only chances. We didn't just sit back all game. We tried to break every time we got the ball and were pretty effective.

Ribbery was absent, sure. But Costa was in his place, and he did very good.
One has to wonder if Costa has a chance to stay in the starting XI

I would be happy if Valencia wasn't playing. He is such a negative player and he is **** defensively when he isn't asked to do something super simple.

Bayern's last thirteen games = WWWWWWWWWWWWWengered.

Couldn't stop laughing when I saw that whilst reading the internets:p. Great result for us last night, honestly didn't think we would win it as last few times we have met Bayern we have been beaten pretty comprehensively.

Cech was outstanding last night, made a couple of good saves. So relieved he is with us, immense goalkeeper.

And lol just lol at the people complaining about our win, just makes it much more satisfying that we won in the end.

No ones really complaining about your win, some of your fans suggestions that it was a master plan tactically and that you played the perfect game is a little silly.

If I'm not mistaken you were quite vocal about how Chelsea won the CL back in 2012, boring, lucky etc.
How do you feel now about Arsenal just doing what they need to win games they need to win?

Edit: Oh, he's gone...
