UEFA Champions League/Europa League ** Spoilers ** [21/22/23 November 2017]

Would have taken a draw before the game, we're still top and should beat Spartak in the final game to guarantee we top the group but that 2nd half performance!! Just how braindead Moreno is, is quite frightening - he actually makes Enrique seem intelligent.

We were brain dead for there 3rd goal and he wasn't even on the pitch, the defence is just **** it's never trust worthy

Id argue that even though Moreno was awful Henderson was atrocious tonight. Worst player on the pitch for me.
Give over. Moreno made more mistakes in the first 10 mins of the 2nd half than the entire side throughout the game - literally 5 mistakes for their first 2 goals from Moreno.

4 mistakes in a row. First a foul he didn't need to make, then he allowed the defender to run across him and score, then a sloppy touch to put the player through then he stuck out a leg to give away the penalty :(

Edit: On Henderson, with two decent CB's behind him he's alright. With the two we usually have it's criminal we don't have a dedicated DM in the team and that's not Henderson.

You can concede goals from set-plays at any time - it happens and the panic set in because of what went before. When you're 3-0 all you ask is you don't make stupid mistakes and that's what Moreno done. His mistakes for the first 2 goals let Sevilla into the game - had we got through the first 10 mins or so then we'd have cruised the 2nd half.

5. He first ends up chasing their player infield and is left sprinting trying to get back into position before giving away the foul.

Henderson, a central midfielder made 55% of his passes tonight.

A central midfielder...55%. Perhaps if he didn't lose the ball then we aren't under the cosh...Sevilla sensed he wasn't on it and pounced all over him.

Have to agree. He doesn't have any composure on the ball when he's under pressure and just hoofs it forward. If he's going to play the quarterback role he needs to improve his passing, a lot.

Having said that, all three of the midfielders were atrocious in the second half. Lallana can't come back soon enough.

He didn't win a single tackle or attempt an aerial duel either. No debating whether Moreno was poor, he clearly was but Henderson for me was actually worse. He brought it all on us and should've been hooked, with Moreno before they even got the second.

I didn't say he played well and I've said before, he's not suited to that position when we're on the back foot but Moreno literally gifted them 2 goals. Had Moreno had half a braincell he doesn't run out of position to begin with, then charge back and give away a stupid free-kick, then allow somebody to get across him at the near post and then when you let Sevilla back into the game and get the crowd up you have to be even more careful, you don't then **** up your control from an easy pass on the edge of your area and then stick a leg out and give away a penalty.

I feel like we haven't had a classic pigeon for a while :D
I got carried away after our recent performances :(

Annoying, Moreno has been one of the best left backs in the league so far this season.
He has but how many chances does he deserve? Has he earnt a reprieve after his early season form in the knowledge he was previously a car crash? Same goes for Klavan, Lovren and Mignolet.

Do we want a back five which consists of three players that suffer from narcolepsy?

Think question is do we even want a back three that has them full stop, after moreno showing tonight Robertson needs a run of games so far been an utter waste buying him
