Do City need to win tonight or will a draw do them depending on results in the last game?

edit: Looking at the table if they draw tonight and both them and Bayern win their last games they'll go through? can they afford to lose tonight?

A win will put them on 5 points, as much as CSKA and Roma. They will be below CSKA due to the head to head games (draw and loss) and draw against Roma. They have a better GD than Roma, so beating/drawing against Roma will be enough (assuming CSKA don't beat Bayern).

What happens if
1. City lose today
2. City beat Roma on the last day
3. CSKA lose to Bayern

They would all be on 5 points. Roma above CSKA on head to head. CSKA above City. City above Roma.
 
1) higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question;
2) superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question;
3) higher number of goals scored in the group matches played among the teams in question;
4) higher number of goals scored away from home in the group matches played among the teams in question;
5) if, after having applied criteria a) to d), teams still have an equal ranking, criteria a) to d) are reapplied exclusively to the matches between the teams in question to determine their final rankings. If this procedure does not lead to a decision, criteria f) to h) apply;
6) superior goal difference from all group matches played;

Trying to work this out. :eek:
