Ideal result really, no papering over the cracks with any late equalisers and it pushes Emery further to the edge of the plank - a plank that’s apparently far too long - but still extremely likely to get to the knockouts... where hopefully someone else who knows what they’re doing can have a crack.
You don’t even need to hope Norwich will play them off the park at the weekend, it’s already a foregone conclusion. Should have sacked him in the international break.

Frankfurt fans at my pub made that bearable, complete looney bin in Camden and the nutters are all going to the emirates to celebrate. Our guys could learn a thing or two from them.

If not Poch then why not Ljungberg?? I mean **** it he can’t be any worse than Emery at the moment. Plus he’s also a legend at the club so pretty sure he would get the players playing proper football. But I’d only have him till end of season then look at a proper replacement. Don’t want another Ole mess on our hands.

I’d be wanting someone like Eddie Howe like Andy said. Simone would be exactly what arsenal need, hard nosed, defensive and gets a real team ethic going.

I though Auba was poor, first touch especially. At least a couple of times it was like watching Carlton Palmer in his prime. Whereas Laca has generally looked sharp in terms of first touch - must be hoping he will get more starts under Ljungberg.
